Fire units were called to 1003 North Meridian Street, Lebanon just after 7:00 Tuesday morning for a house fire. Lebanon Police officers arrived on the scene and reported smoke showing from the attic. Fire crews arrived on scene and began searching the building for occupants. The building was found to be vacant, and firefighters quickly located and extinguished the fire in the building’s second floor apartment. No civilians were injured during the fire; however, one firefighter sustained a minor injury. The cause of the fire appears to be accidental and electrical in nature.
