The Boone County Training Tower is expanding yet again, and this time it’s going underground.
Lebanon Fire Chief Chuck Batts and Deputy Chief of Operations Robert Wirey said the addition of a buried basement area will make the tower unique among fire training facilities. Only one fire training center they know of has a below grade training area. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
