Health officials in Boone County say now is the time to get flu shots. Cindy Murphy, RN, Administrator and Nursing and Vital Records Director, at the Boone County Health Department, noted that Boone County had eight reported flu deaths last year, adding that more than 300 Hoosiers died from the flu last season.
