Former Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels will not run for U.S. Senate. The seat is being vacated by Republican Senator Mike Braun as he runs for governor of Indiana in 2024. Daniels announced Tuesday that he is not seeking the position. His decision leaves U.S. Representative Jim Banks as the only candidate who has declared they’re running for the seat.
