The Lebanon Street Department commissioner who was demoted after a city investigation, said Friday that the mayor mischaracterized allegations against him.
Larry Lee retired from the city in August after he was removed as street commissioner and given an non-management job in a different department.
Mayor Matthew Gentry this week released a statement along with findings of an internal investigation authorized by the city after Indiana State Police questioned street department practices. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
