This year’s Frankfort Hotdog Festival gets underway Friday and Saturday July 28 and 29 and downtown Frankfort. RadioMom 91.1FM and 101.3FM broadcasts LIVE Friday noon to 2pm with Scott Carney; then, Scott hosts Frankfort’s Got Talent on stage beginning at 2:30pm. Here’s a look at all the events scheduled for the BIG weekend:

Friday, July 28th

Official Hot Dog Festival Tent & Big Taste Grille Opens – Main Street

Variety Show by Clinton County Youth Theater – Main Stage (11:15-noon)

Art & Book Sale – Frankfort Public Library Book Sale – Friday & Saturday from 9 am – 5 pm

TPA Park Petting Zoo Opens – visit our local zoo animals – E. Washington Street

History on Wheels Frankfort’s Hot Dog Festival is among the first stops for a one-of-a-kind history experience dedicated to Indiana’s automotive and racing heritage. The new mobile museum will be free and open to the public daily, July 28 through 29, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The 53-foot double expandable semi-trailer will be located in Frankfort’s downtown Courthouse Square. The Indiana Historical Society’s (IHS’s) History on Wheels traveling exhibit is making its way to the festival, courtesy of Frankfort Main Street, Inc., and sponsor NHK Seating.

Clinton Prairie Motorsports Started by a group of seven Clinton Prairie High School students and a teacher mentor, Clinton Prairie Motorsports is working to promote STEM programs within our school. As participants in Purdue’s “M-STEM3” program, we are utilizing the school’s unused workshop equipment and involving students from multiple disciplines (Machinery, Math, Physics, Public Relations, Art, Videography, Web Design, etc.). Our goal is not only to race in the Student Karting World Finals on May 16 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway but also to provide students with hands-on experience in multiple career fields.

Flannel Jane – Flannel Jane fully immerses listeners in a nostalgic experience, with a song list comprised of some of the most fun and energetic rock songs from the early to late 90s. Whether you are the 30 something reliving college days or the now 20 year-old reminiscing childhood memories, we will provide you with the sound track of some of your favorite rock songs of the 90s. Flannel Jane brings together 5 local music veterans from the greater Indianapolis area, with an impressive collection of touring/ recording accolades that include: 6 UK tours, a 2014 Asian tour opening for Chris Daughtry, a BBC Abbey Road recording session/ appearance, record deal, and the list goes on.

Greg Rhodes – a Nashville recording artist and singer/songwriter born and raised in East Central Indiana. Greg has toured the Midwest for over a decade, sharing the stage with national acts Cook & Belle, Dierks Bentley, Joe Diffie, Trick Pony, and Jessica Andrews to name a few. Greg showcases a diverse range of music in his set list, from classic hits such as “Crazy” by Patsy Cline to current and chart topping Country/Pop, listeners of all ages are drawn to the stage for one entertaining and memorable show!

Cook & Belle – recording artist, singer, songwriters have opened for such artists as Lonestar, Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley, Sarah Evans, Trace Adkins, Joe Nichols, Scotty McCreary, Charlie Daniels, Billy Currington, and Bret Michaels.
