Frieda Mae (Sedwick) Faucett, 87, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully in her home Monday, April 24, 2023, at CrownPointe of Lebanon.

Frieda was born October 9, 1935, in Clinton County, a daughter of the late William I. and Lovice L. (Eubank) Sedwick. After graduating from Sugar Creek School in 1954, she married Bobby Joe Faucett on July 24, 1954. He preceded her in death October 1998.

Frieda worked at the meat counter for Standard Grocery Store for 40 years. She was an annual member of the VFW, as well as the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, the Lebanon Elks Lodge, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, always enjoying time with them, especially during the holidays. While living at CrownPointe, she loved playing BINGO and euchre, attending snack and chat, and going to the Lebanon Leprechauns basketball games.

Survivors include her children, Jody (Mike) Redman of Lebanon and Shane (Eileen) Faucett of Mason, OH; sisters, Mary Lou Schuyler of Lapel and Barbara Kincaid of Danville; grandchildren, Ashley (Nick) Elliott, Riley Faucett, Logan Faucett, Olivia Faucett, Bubba (Shelly) Redman, and Jason Redman; great grandchildren, Chase Elliott, Knox Elliott, and Zoey Redman; best friend, Charlene Burcham and family; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Frieda was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim, Floyd, Bob, Don, Larry, and Leon Sedwick; granddaughter, Missy Redman Prescott; and special friend, John Cline.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff, nurses, and residents at CrownPointe and to Paradigm Health and Witham Memorial Hospital.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, April 29, for visitation from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Frieda will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
