Friends of the family of Boone County Sheriff’s Deputy Jacob Pickett are raising money to send the staff and officers to the National Police Week memorial ceremonies. Michelle Atkinson is selling Christmas ornaments memorializing the slain officer for $20. She says donations for the family have already been secured for Pickett’s wife, Jen, his two boys, her parents and Pickett’s parents. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
