Mrs. Geraldine B. Eldridge, 83, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Majestic Care of Sheridan. She was born August 26, 1939, in Westfield, Indiana, a daughter of the late Russell and Clarel (Snow) Ottinger. She attended Westfield schools.
On July 26, 1958, she was united in marriage to Cecil W. Eldridge in Hamilton County, Indiana. He preceded her in death.
Geraldine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family and took pleasure in attending church. She enjoyed reading, making crafts and music. Geraldine was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her son, Keith C. (Rebecca) Eldridge of Kirklin; stepson, Jerry W. Eldridge of Murray, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Amber (Devon) Peppers of Forest, Nicole Horney of Michigantown, and Crystle Horney of Kirklin; four step grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Ellen Hale of Zionsville.
In addition to her parents and husband, Geraldine was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell Ottinger, Gerald Ottinger, and Bruce Taylor; a sister, Becky Newman; stepdaughter, Barbara Hodges; and brother in law, Richard Hale.
Funeral Services are planned for 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow at Mts. Runn Cemetery in Boone County, Indiana.
Memorials may be directed in her memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
