Douglas Gibson
Douglas Gibson, 38, of Lebanon, was indicted on charges in the US District Court for Southern Indiana. Gibson was indicted by the grand jury on charges of 2 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of sexual exploitation of a minor by a registered sex offender, distribution of child sexual abuse material, and possession of child sexual abuse material. The Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force out of Boone County, received a cyber tip alerting investigators to an online account that had been sharing child sexual abuse material. Boone County Investigators determined Gibson to be the owner of the account being used. On September 15, 2022, Boone County Investigators detained Gibson and served search warrants on Gibson’s person, home, and vehicle. Through their investigation, Gibson was found to be in possession of many files containing child sexual abuse material.
