Recent grants pumped $215,000 into Boone County to help non-profit organizations serve those adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Community Foundation of Boone County recently awarded another $18,000 in COVID-19 relief funds to four organizations, bringing the foundation’s COVID-19 relief grants total to $53,000.
And the United Way of Central Indiana gave unrestricted grants of more than $1.8 million to organizations in counties surrounding Marion, including $197,000 to Boone County organizations. The Lily Endowment provided the United Way with $3.5 million for COVID-19 relief. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
