Hamilton County’s treasurer is blaming ‘printing errors’ for the mistakes on local tax bills. Treasurer Susan Byer yesterday tried to explain away the mistakes on this spring’s bills. First there was an issue with the watermark for the word ‘escrowed,’ and then there were some banks included on the list of payment locations that are not accepting payments this year. Byer says the mistakes did not affect the amount that homeowners and taxpayers owe.
