Harold Donald West, 94, of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Zionsville Meadows. He was born on September 11, 1925 in Lebanon, Indiana to the late Clarence and Jenny Marie (Fairfield) West
He was married to Norma Jane (French) West; she passed away in 2006. He later married Mary D. (Mandabach) Ramsey-West on June 13, 2008 in Brownsburg, Indiana; she passed away just eight days ago on November 14, 2019.
Harold worked at various places throughout his life. He worked for Hays Freight Line in Indianapolis, the Boone County Surveyor’s office and retired in 1987 from the Boone County Highway Department.
Harold took great pride in his family, loved being involved in their activities and adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his family he also enjoyed watching old westerns, especially Gunsmoke and Bonanza.

In addition to his parents and wives, Harold was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Slavings; sons-in-law, Jerry Hunt, Russell Lee, Edwin McCall, David McCormick; grandson; a great granddaughter; brothers, Howard and Hurbert West; sisters, Lois Jean Lamphire and Louise Neely-Max.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on November 26 at the funeral home in Lebanon.
Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
Memorials may be made to Riley’s Children Foundation or Yellow Rose Hospice (Methodist Hospital).
