Harold K. Calvert, 79, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at McCormick’s Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Spencer, Indiana on Saturday, October 2, 2021. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on February 4, 1942, the son of the late Mary Jane (Kreisher) Calvert and Harold K. Calvert, Sr.
On July 24, 1974, he was married to Louella A. (Prewitt) Calvert, in Carmel, Indiana. She passed away on September 19, 2014.
Harold retired in 2004 from Washington Township School System after 42 years of dedicated service. He loved old cars and was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.
Harold was a member of Central Christian Church in Carmel, Indiana and later attended Calvary Baptist Church in Bloomington, Indiana
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Melissa Craig and husband, Kevin of Bloomington, Indiana; two granddaughters, Erin Craig and Savanah Craig; one sister, Norma Wehe and husband, Ron of Lapel, Indiana
No services will be held. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory in Lebanon, Indiana were entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
Memorials may be given in his memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
