Preschoolers lined up for health services and assessments Thursday to prepare for the Headstart school year, which begins Tuesday. Lebanon Police Officer James Koontz, a D.A.R.E. officer, greeted children and parents as they arrived at Bible Baptist Church in Lebanon, and he gifted students with toys, pencils and a high five as they left. Headstart pupils range in age from prenatal to 5 years, and come from low-income families. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
