Friends, family and colleagues gathered at the Boone County Courthouse annex Tuesday to bid Cindy Murphy farewell as the longtime administrator and nursing division director of the Boone County Health Department. Murphy has been with the health department for 16 years. Murphy was awarded the State Health Commissioner’s Award in 2010 for Excellence in Public Health. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
