The annual luncheon meeting for the Heart of Lebanon is noon March 5 at the Lebanon Public Library. “It’s for anybody who’s interested in learning about the Heart of Lebanon,” newly-appointed Director Missy Krulik said. “What we did last year, what we’re going to do this year and it also gives us the ability to bring in a speaker to talk about what other Main Streets are doing and what they’re successful at.” The Heart of Lebanon is one of 135 Indiana Main Street organizations in 81 counties. The program, administered by the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, encourages and supports local organizations to develop and implement strategies to stimulate economic growth and pride in the downtown commercial cores.
