Helen “Bunchie” Handlon, 96, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Apr. 17, 2021, at her home surrounded by family.
Bunchie was born in Indianapolis January 19, 1925, a daughter of the late Alva Clifford and Emma Belle (Burriss) Harness.
Bunchie graduated from Washington High School and was employed by Commercial Filters for 25 years. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards, and loved Boston Bull Dogs.
Survivors include son Russell Lee (Catherine Sue) Handlon of Lebanon; daughters Katherine (Wally “Footsie”) Fine of Lebanon, Glenda Joyce Hutchins of Sheridan and Kimberly Sue Trips of Frankfort; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren that she loved dearly. Bunchie was preceded in death by her daughter Bonnie Dargie
Family and friends will gather, Saturday, April 24, 2021 for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N.
