The heat advisory prompted organizers to shorten the Almost Anything Goes competitions on Saturday, but competitors did not give in under the oppressive humidity.
The Teen Almost Anything Goes competition, organized by the Boone County Fourth of July Committee began first, at 4 p.m. and was directly followed by the Pre-Teen Almost Anything Goes competition, organized by the Lebanon Area Boys and Girls Club. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
