At 3:56 pm Wednesday afternoon fire companies were dispatched to 717 E. Main St. in Lebanon on a house fire. Battalion 201 marked the fire as “working” with additional working fire companies. Fire crews made an aggressive interior attack. The fire was marked under control at 4:15. Due to interior conditions the home required extensive overhaul. The investigation determined the cause of the fire to be discarded smoking materials. Kristen Linton, The Salvation Army Disaster Coordinator was called to the scene to assist with the homeowners needs.
