As fatal overdoses climb, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb is announcing funding to help the most high-risk Hoosiers. Per the governor’s announcement this week, the state will fund a one-point-three-million-dollar distribution of Naloxone, the potentially life-saving opioid reversal drug. Overdose Lifeline Inc. will hand out 35-thousand doses of Naloxone to first responders and to individuals who need them. Deadly overdoses have increased by 33-percent over the past year in Indiana.
