(Indianapolis, IN) — New Colts head coach Frank Reich [[ ryke ]] continues adding pieces to his coaching staff. The Colts have added Patriots special teams coach Ross Ventrone to lead their special teams unit. Former Buccaneers assistant David Borgonzi will be the linebackers coach. Indy is also bringing in former Lions assistant Alan Williams to coach the secondary. Reich has already stated that he will call plays for the Colts this fall.

(Los Angeles, CA) — Pacers guard Victor Oladipo and forward Domantas Sabonis will represent the team at NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles. Sabonis will play for Team World in the Rising Stars Challenge tonight. Oladipo takes the stage tomorrow in the Slam Dunk Contest before suiting up for Sunday’s All-Star Game. Oladipo can become the second Pacer in-a-row to win the Slam Dunk Contest after Glenn Robinson the Third won last year.

(Madison, WI) — Wisconsin held on to a slim lead late and pulled off a shocking 57-53 upset of number-seven Purdue in Madison. Purdue shot just under 40-percent from the field. Carsen Edwards put up 22 points for the Boilermakers, who dropped to 23-and-5 and 12-and-3. Purdue was 12-and-0 in conference play before losing three straight. The Boilermakers host Penn State Sunday.

(Bradenton, FL) — Spring training is underway in Bradenton, Florida for the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Indianapolis Indians have served as Pittsburgh’s Triple-A affiliate since 2005. Pitchers and catchers arrived on Monday, while the rest of the team must report by Sunday. The Pirates open Grapefruit League action next Friday against the Rays.
