(Detroit, MI) — The Purdue Boilermakers are headed to the Sweet 16 for the second straight year. The second-seeded Boilers edged 10th-seeded Butler 76-73 in second round action of the East Region in Detroit. Vincent Edwards scored 20 points to pace Purdue, which moves on to face third-seeded Texas Tech in the Sweet 16 on Friday in Boston. Kelan Martin dropped in a game-high 29 points for the Bulldogs, who finish the season 21-and-14.

(Detroit, MI) — Purdue center Isaac Haas will rest this week and try to play Friday after breaking his fracturing his elbow last week. The senior big man was hurt during Friday’s win over Cal-State Fullerton and was initially ruled out for the rest of the tournament. X-rays revealed he will need surgery, but Haas plans to try and play. He suited up last night but didn’t enter the game.

(New York, NY) — The Indianapolis Colts are moving back in the 2018 NFL Draft. The Colts traded the third overall pick to the New York Jets on Saturday for the sixth overall pick and three second rounders. The Colts get the 37th and 49th overall picks in this year’s draft, plus a second-rounder in 2019. The draft kicks off on April 26th at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Colts are moving on from defensive tackle Jonathan Hankins after just one season. Indianapolis cut him on Saturday, just one year after signing Hankins to a three-year, 27-million-dollar deal. He started 15 games and recorded 44 tackles and two sacks last season. Hankins turns 26 at the end of this month.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Pacers look to end a two-game slide as they host the Los Angeles Lakers tonight. Indiana is 40-and-30 on the season, good for fifth in the East. The Lakers enter at 31-and-38. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. The Pacers visit New Orleans on Wednesday.
