(Indianapolis, IN) — The NFL Scouting Combine continues today in Indianapolis. On today’s schedule, running backs and offensive lineman will take part in the bench press and interviews. Quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends will undergo physical measurements and medical exams. Defensive linemen and linebackers are set to arrive and register today.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Indianapolis Colts are not bringing back Frank Gore. The decision was announced Wednesday, following a meeting between Colts general manager Chris Ballard and the veteran running back. Gore turns 35 in May, but has already made it known he plans to play a 14th season this fall. Gore never missed a start in three seasons with the Colts and is just 76 yards away from passing Curtis Martin for fifth on the NFL’s all-time rushing list. He spent the first 10 seasons of his career with the 49ers.

(Atlanta, GA) — The Pacers’ rally attempt fell short as they lost to the Hawks 107-102 in Atlanta. Indiana trailed by 20 after three quarters, but got within two points in the final quarter. Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pacers with 26 points, and Victor Oladipo added 22 in defeat. The Pacers visit the Bucks tomorrow.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Pacers are bringing in veteran forward Trevor Booker for the stretch run. Booker was waived by the 76ers yesterday and will sign a minimum deal with Indiana for the rest of the season. In 51 games this season with Brooklyn and Philadelphia, Booker is averaging 6.6 points and 4.7 rebounds.

(New York, NY) — Butler couldn’t get it done in double-overtime in a 75-68 loss to Saint John’s in New York. Paul Jorgensen and Kelan Martin each scored 17 points in defeat. The Bulldogs shot just 35-percent from the field in the loss. Butler wraps up the regular season on Saturday at Seton Hall.
