(Indianapolis, IN) — The Colts and the Baltimore Ravens will conduct a pair of joint practices during training camp. They’ll take place at Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield on August 17th and 18th. The two sides will then meet for a preseason game on August 20th at Lucas Oil Stadium. This is the first year the Colts are holding training camp in Westfield after years at Anderson University.

(Statesboro, GA) — Former Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson was awarded a posthumous degree on Saturday by Georgia Southern University. His parents accepted the degree for Jackson, who was killed in a car crash in February after being struck by a drunk driver. He played in all 16 games for Indianapolis in 2016 and started eight before missing all of last season with an injury. Georgia Southern also renamed its walk-on program the “Edwin Jackson Memorial Walk-On Tryouts.” He made the team there as a walk-on in 2011.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Indians gave up four runs in the first inning of a rain-shortened 4-1 loss to the Gwinnett Stripers at Victory Field. Clay Holmes allowed all four runs over five innings to take the loss. The game was called after five frames. Jacob Stallings plated the lone-run on an RBI-groundout in the fourth. The Tribe get today off before visiting the Norfolk Tides tomorrow.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Indiana Fever open the 2018 preseason today versus the Chicago Sky at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Fever have just two exhibition games this year, with the final coming Saturday versus the Washington Mystics at the University of Delaware. The regular season tips off May 19th versus Chicago.
