Rookies are scheduled to report a week from today, with the veterans hitting camp on the 29th. The first full-team practice kicks off the following day. The Colts open preseason action at home August 13th versus the Detroit Lions.

(Noblesville, IN) — An Indiana University football player is in trouble with the law following an arrest at a concert at Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville. Simmie Cobbs was booked into the Hamilton County Jail over the weekend following his arrest at a Jason Aldean concert. The 21-year old faces misdemeanor charges of refusal to identify and resisting law enforcement. Cobbs, a red-shirt junior, received a medical red-shirt after breaking his ankle on his first snap last season.

(Indianapolis, IN) — Edgar Santana surrendered the game-winning hit in the top of the ninth as the Indians were clipped by Louisville 6-5 in Indianapolis. Santana was tagged with his first blown save and fell to 1-and-2. Erich Weiss drove in a pair of runs for Indy in defeat. The Indians have dropped two-straight and open a three-game set in Durham tonight.

(Los Angeles, CA) — The Fever hope to end a four-game slide as they visit the Sparks tonight in Los Angeles. Indiana is 7-and-11 following consecutive losses to Connecticut, Atlanta, San Antonio and Washington. The Sparks are 13-and-5, including a perfect 8-and-0 at the STAPLES Center. Tipoff is slated 10:30 p.m.
