(Bloomington, IN) — According to multiple reports, Indiana head baseball coach Chris Lemonis is headed to Mississippi State. Mississippi State has been without a head coach for much of the year after Andy Cannizaro resigned just three games into the season. Lemonis guided the Hoosiers to a 141-91-and-2 record, while making three NCAA Tournament appearances in four seasons at the helm.

(Santa Monica, CA) — Pacers guard Victor Oladipo will be looking to take home some hardware tonight at the 2018 NBA Awards show. The former Indiana Hoosier has been nominated as a finalist for the Most Improved Player award after he averaged 23.1 points en route to his first All-Star appearance. The ceremony will take place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

(West Lafayette, IN) — The Purdue basketball program has gained another commitment for the class of 2019. New Castle High School standout forward Mason Gillis announced via Twitter that he will attend Purdue. The in-state product averaged 21.6 points and 12.2 rebounds as a junior. Gillis chose the Boilermakers over Xavier, Butler and Ohio State.

(Indianapolis, IN) — Max Moroff drove in the lone run for the Indians as they were edged by the Durham Bulls 2-1 in Indianapolis. Brandon Waddell surrendered three runs across two-and-two-third innings to take the loss. Indianapolis will open a three-game series with the Toledo Mud Hens tonight. The Indians are second in the IL West at 40-and-33, three-and-a-half games behind Toledo.
