>>Pacers Host Pre-Draft Workouts Today

(Indianapolis, IN) — Six NBA prospects will be present at the Saint Vincent Center as the Pacers host their pre-draft workouts. Wichita State guard Landry Shamet is one of six players working out for the Pacers today. Indiana owns the 23rd and 50th overall selections in this year’s draft, which gets going June 21st in New York.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Colts wrap up organized team activities today with the last of 10 scheduled practices. Following the completion of OTA’s, the Colts will go through mandatory minicamp which kicks off on Tuesday and runs three days.

>>Luck’s Dad Named XFL Commissioner

(Undated) — The father of Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is the new commissioner of the XFL, a pro football league being revived by Vince McMahon. Oliver Luck, who played four seasons for the Houston Oilers in the 1980’s will leave his job as an NCAA executive to run the league. Luck was once president of the now-defunct NFL Europe. The XFL is expected to re-launch in 2020. The league lasted just one season in 2001 before folding.

(Rochester, NY) — Erich Weiss and Kevin Kramer homered as the Indians dropped the Red Wings 7-2 in Rochester. Alex McRae tossed five frames of two-run ball to earn the win for Indy. The Tribe improved to 29-and-27 and goes for the three-game sweep today. First pitch from Rochester is at 12:35 p.m.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Indiana Fever are back in action tomorrow as they host the Dallas Wings. The Fever sit at 0-and-6 so far on the year. Rookie Kelsey Mitchell has been a bright spot for Indiana, and currently leads the team in scoring with 18.3 points per game.
