Nelson is expected to slide into the Colts starting lineup at guard. All of the Colts’ picks are under contract except for second-round picks Darius Leonard and Braden Smith.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Colts made a move to beef up the defensive line over the weekend. Indianapolis claimed defensive end Rakeem Nunez-Roches off waivers from Kansas City and released linebacker Joshua Perry. Nunez-Roches has played 34 games for KC over the past three seasons.

(Indianapolis, IN) — Eric Wood drilled a two-run homer as the Indians dropped the Clippers 12-7 in Indianapolis. Wood drove in three runs, as did Austin Meadows. The bullpen pitched five shutout innings, with Casey Sadler earning the win. The Tribe are off today.
