>CB Breeland Visits Colts

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Colts met with free agent cornerback Bashaud Breeland yesterday as they look to shore up their secondary. Breeland had agreed to a 24-million-dollar deal with Carolina earlier this offseason, but the deal was voided after he failed a physical. Breeland is expected to be ready for the fall.

(Indianapolis, IN) — Pacers guard Victor Oladipo is one of three finalists for the NBA’s Most Improved Player Award. Oladipo is up against Houston center Clint Capela and Brooklyn guard Spencer Dinwiddie. Oladipo averaged a career-high 23.9 points per game for Indiana this season after being acquired from Oklahoma City in the Paul George trade.

(Norfolk, VA) — Bo Schultz gave up the walk-off run as the Indians fell to the Tides 4-3 in Norfolk. Schultz fell to 0-and-1 for the Indians. Jordan Luplow tied the game with a three-run homer in the top of the ninth. The rubber match is today in Norfolk. First pitch is at 12:05 p.m.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Indiana Fever open the regular season at home on Saturday versus the Chicago Sky. They’ll seek a return to the playoffs after missing out last season with a record of 9-and-25. Indiana used the second overall pick in the WNBA Draft to select guard Kelsey Mitchell, whose expected to make an immediate impact.
