(Indianapolis, IN) — Indianapolis Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson is dead after being hit by a suspected drunk driver. The 26-year-old was one of two men that were killed early Sunday in Indianapolis, after the driver of a Ford F-150 drove onto the emergency shoulder and struck the rear of the car and hit both Jackson and another man. The Colts issued a statement, saying they were heartbroken to hear the news of his passing and Jackson was loved by everyone in the organization. Jackson missed all of this season due to injury. He appeared in all 16 games as a rookie in 2016, including eight starts, and recorded 66 tackles and two sacks.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Indianapolis Colts are expected to move forward with the hiring of Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. He wouldn’t address his future with reporters after yesterday’s Super Bowl loss, but multiple reports have stated McDaniels has accepted the Colts head coaching job.
