Indianapolis Avenue opened to southbound traffic Tuesday, making it the first time the street accommodated two-way traffic since June. Sections of the street were completely closed for periods of the summer while crews directed by the Indiana Department of Transportation removed pavement, sidewalk and utilities services for a complete infrastructure and street overhaul. The bulk of the sidewalks, driveways, drive approaches, landscaping, lighting, asphalt surfacing and striping are slated for completion by spring. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
