The Indiana Department of Transportation announces an intermittent flagging operation on State Road 28 for continued work on a resurfacing and rehabilitation project in Frankfort, starting on or after Saturday, April 1. The main road will be open to traffic at all times, with intermittent flagging between County Road 200 and Hoke Avenue. The restrictions are expected to last through early July, weather permitting.

Starting on or after Thursday, April 6, crews will also be working in the eastbound and westbound turn lanes from S.R. 28 to southbound McKinley. This work is to make the turn more accessible for larger vehicles. Those areas will be restricted through early May, weather permitting.
