There is a new wrinkle in Lebanon’s triple murder from back in September. Investigators say the killings were planned by two inmates in the Bone County Jail. Court documents lay-out the plots. They say Johnathon Thompson wanted the murder victims killed because of a domestic violence charge against one of the family members, and because he blamed the victims for spreading rumors about him in jail. The documents say Thompson asked another inmate, 40-year-old Chad Grimball to kill the three in exchange for a two thousand-dollar watch. Lebanon Police say the three victims were shot in the head. Boone County prosecutors this week charged Grimball with the murders, it’s unclear what charges Thompson may face in the case as well.
