Mr. Jack R. Crane, 88, of Lebanon, passed away May 19, 2020, at home.

Jack was born Apr. 18, 1932 in Indianapolis, a son of the late Myron and Anna (Essex) Crane. He was married to Rilla Hillock for 55 years. She died in 2008.

Jack was a graduate of Zionsville High School. He served in the Navy after high school, then worked for the USPS for 30 years in Zionsville and Witham Toxicology for 15 years.

Jack was a founding member and treasurer of the Boone County Antique Tractor Club and Ford Fordson Collectors Association, Inc. He was the Vice President of Hutton Cemetery.

Survivors include his children, Steven (Charlotte) Crane and LeAnn (Micah) Crane Marsh, both of Whitestown; grandchildren: Stephanie Crane, Shelby Crane, Brock (Jessica) Dierks, Hanna Dierks, and Kya Marsh; great-grandchildren: Kayden, Kylee, Jackson, Lincoln and Kaelyn Dierks and Owen Mosteller; a brother, Carl (Nina) Crane; his significant other, Lou Rice and her children, Lynn (Mark) Byington and Susan Andrew. In addition to his parents and wife, Jack was preceded in death by a brother, Myron Wasem Jr.

Family and friends will gather Sunday, May 24, 2020 for visitation from 2-6 p.m. and the funeral service on Monday, May 25, at 10 a.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Jack will be laid to rest at Hutton Cemetery in Zionsville.
