James B. “Jamie” Beard, 41, of Thorntown, passed away on January 8, 2020 at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born on June 8, 1978 in Lebanon, Indiana; a son of Cheryl J. (Robbins) and the late Steven L. Beard.
He graduated in 1996 from Western Boone High School and from ITT in 1997. On January 22, 2014 he was married to Rachel (Bevard) Beard; she survives.
Jamie was licensed and certified in heating and cooling. He was a hard worker and employed by Conseco Insurance and the city of Lafayette in the Maintenance Department. Jamie was an avid Colts fan and in his spare time he enjoyed cars, classical music, fishing, hunting and spending time at Lake Freeman.

Jamie was preceded in death by a daughter, Adalynn Ivy Beard and father Steven Beard.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Myers Mortuary 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow services at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown.
Memorials may be made in Jamie’s memory to charity of the donor’s choice.
