Janette Elizabeth Proctor, 66, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on April 13, 1956, a daughter of Patsy (Hernadez) Barker and the late Joseph Barker.
Janette had been married to her husband Stephen R. Proctor for 38 years. She worked as the manager of the Boone County Arc Rehab in Lebanon for 25 years until her retirement.
As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, she loved her family dearly. In addition to her family, she loved her dogs and enjoyed doing puzzles and crafts.
Survivors include husband, Stephen R. Proctor of Thorntown; three children, Keith Edward (Amanda) Hockenberry of Thorntown, Samuel O. Proctor of Lebanon, Benjamin R. Proctor of Thorntown. two grandchildren, Jennifer Elizabeth Anne Conkright, Joseph Robert Hockenberry. Great grandchildren, Roselyn Christine Beckett and Novalyn Audrey Beckett; brother: Rick L. Barker of Kokomo and sister, Patricia J. Moore of Converse, Indiana.
In addition to her father, she was proceeded in death by a son, Edward Keith Hockenberry; a daughter Angela Hockenberry; and a brother; Robert Barker
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00p.m. Saturday November 5, 2022, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. No services will be held.
Boone County Crematory has been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
