Jeffrey Smith Brockway, 57, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in Lebanon. He was born on January 30, 1967, in Maryland, a son of Lillian (Smith) Brockway and the late Colonel Lawrence N. Brockway, Jr.
He graduated from Bible Baptist High School in St. Charles, Missouri and attended Dekalb Technical College in Clarkston, Georgia.
Jeff was an auto mechanic at Zionsville Auto Service for over 20 years. He also worked at Big-O Tires in Lebanon.
Jeff enjoyed playing his guitar, target shooting, traveling, camping, and fishing. A devoted family man, Jeff cherished moments spent with his loved ones, and will be greatly missed by them.
Survivors include his mother, Lillian Brockway of Conyers, Georgia; two sons, Christopher (Emily) Brockway of Zionsville and Liam Brockway of Indianapolis; granddaughter, Brooklynn Brockway of Zionsville; brother, Lawrence (Gloria) Brockway, III of Covington, Georgia; sister, Kathleen Brockway of Bowie, Maryland; uncle Cliff and aunt Sue Brockway of North Haven, Connecticut; nieces, Ashley Aiele of Frederick, Maryland and Maureen Aiele of Dallas, Pennsylvania; and best friend, Trena Brockway of Zionsville.
In addition to his father, Jeff was preceded in death by his uncle Kenneth and aunt Marilyn Brockway previously of Portsmouth, Road Island.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
