John Nathan Shue, Sr., 58, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Compassus Hospice in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on October 14, 1962, in Lebanon, Indiana; a son of the late James Allen and Beula M. (Robison) Shue.
He was a 1980 graduate of Western Boone Jr. Sr. High School. Following high school, he attended Lincoln Tech in Indianapolis.
On January 16, 2010, he was married to Susan R. (Kincaid) Shue, she survives. A longtime resident of Lebanon, John was a school bus mechanic for the Lebanon School Corporation, retiring in 2010.
He was in a pool league at Hi Way Hut and in his spare time John enjoyed metal detecting, Eagle watching and restoring cars. He had an easy-going spirit with a soft heart and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Survivors include: wife, Susan Shue of Lebanon; children, Amanda (Jarred) Miller of Lebanon, John Shue Jr. (Brittany) of Lansing, Illinois; stepdaughters, Reanon (Jeff) Latham of Lebanon, Ariel Stewart of Lebanon; brothers, James A. Lopez -Shue, (Robbie) Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, Matthew D. (Becki) Shue of Lebanon, Indiana; eleven grandchildren.
Visitation is planned from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana.
Boone County Crematory has been entrusted with his cremation arrangements following visitation.
Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
