Johnnie Tyler Layton, 20, of Sheridan, passed away Nov. 14, 2019.
Johnnie was born Apr. 14, 1999, in Greencastle, a son of Dustin Layton and Sarada Hinton.
Johnnie attended school in Lebanon and graduated from the Crossing in Frankfort. He enjoyed wrestling and fishing, and he was a ten- year member of 4-H. Johnnie’s children and family were especially important to him.
Survivors include his father, Dustin Layton of Frankfort; sisters, Delilah (Dylan Shaw) Layton, Deandra (Drew Peebles) Layton, and Gracie Jo Layton; children, Brayla Marlow and Kalvyn Layton; maternal grandparents, Bernard and Cindy Hinton; maternal great-grandmothers, Helen Myers and Dora Isenhower; paternal grandparents, Kyle and Denise Kercheval; paternal great-grandmothers, Patti Cory and Wanda Kercheval; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great-aunts, and great-uncles. Johnnie was preceded in death by his mother, Sarada Hinton; great-grandfather, Billy Cory; grandparents, Johnnie and Deanna Layton; and grandfather, David Kercheval.
Family and friends will gather for visitation Fri., Nov. 22, 2019, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
