Joseph Eugene “Joe” Cox, 68, passed away at his home in Lebanon on Saturday, May 14, 2022. He was born in Sullivan County, Indiana on November 4, 1953; a son of the late Lloyd and Dorothy (Brown) Cox.
He was a 1973 graduate of Lebanon High School. Joe retired after 35 years of dedicated service as a fork-lift operator for Target and later was a battery technician for CNH in Lebanon.
Joe enjoyed a good game of golf, football and watching the golf channel. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, humor and kindness.
Survivors include his fiancée, Frances Noe of Lebanon; daughter, Angela (Stephen Herndon) Noe of Indianapolis; sons, Nathan Cox of Marion, Ohio, Joey (Mary) Cox of Indianapolis, Indiana; two grandchildren, Angel Noe, Damien Noe and Avina Herndon; brother, James (Gayle) Cox of Whiteland.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a grandchild, Deven Carson.
In honor of his wishes, no services will be held. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory in Lebanon, Indiana has been entrusted with his cremation.
