A special judge has dismissed a criminal case filed against a former Lebanon Police Officer. James Ross Miller was charged in December 2019 with child seduction and domestic battery, after he was accused of kissing a teen girl’s neck during off-duty hours at his Thorntown home. Hamilton County Special Judge Paul Felix wrote in part in his decision, “the court finds that the state … failed to prove the essential elements of both counts beyond a reasonable doubt.” More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
