Julia Ann Sheets

Julia Ann Sheets 79, of Kirklin, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. She was born September 25, 1943, in Frankfort, the daughter of the late Garrett and Eva Mae (Christy) Brown.

On Nov 25, 1961, she was united in marriage to Larry G. Sheets in Clinton County. They shared their life together for over 61 years.

Julia was a 1961 graduate of Jackson Township High School. She had worked for a period of time for the State House and for Economy Insurance in Lebanon. She owned her own business redoing furniture. Julia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She loved taking care of her family and her home. Julia was a member of the Mechanicsburg Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Larry G. Sheets of Kirklin; two children, Angie Sheets of Kirklin and David Sheets of Kirklin; four grandchildren, Alexis Mosby, Kylie Mosby, Martita Sheets, and Victoria Sheets; great grandson, Giavoni Obdul-Hagg; sister, Annette (Brad) Bailey of Colfax.

In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by a brother, Garrett Eugene Brown.

Memorial Services are planned for a later date and will be announced at that time. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her arrangements for cremation.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice in Julia’s memory.
