The Zionsville Police Department has welcomed a new member to the force: K-9 Mika. The 1 1/2-year-old pup is a Belgian Malinois mixed with German Shepherd from Hungary. K-9 Corporal Josh Stutesman will be Mika’s new handler. Stutesman’s previous K-9, Jelka, died of  cancer this past July. Mika trained at Vohne Liche Kennels in Denver, Ind., where ZPD acquires all of its K-9 dogs. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
