Kay Ellen Camp, 71, of Lebanon, died Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Kay was born December 15, 1949, in Logansport, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Bob and Rita (Doran) Lee. She married the late Donald Camp on July 23, 1983.
Kay enjoyed all of her family, loved to talk to and spend time with them. She was very proud of her grandchildren and loved attending all of their events and cheering them on in every aspect of their lives. In her spare time, she loved watching sports on television, especially the Colts football and IU basketball. She always had a new book to read and recommend to others. Though a retired bookkeeper, she continued to work part time for Protis and enjoyed her work.
Survivors include her daughter, Kelly (Keith) Fettig of Lebanon; stepsons, Travis (Kris) Camp and Chad Camp of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Leelah and Isabella Fettig, Eli Camp, and Lizzy Hiatt; three siblings, Jerry (Julie) Lee, Mike (Deb) Lee, and John (Bonita) Lee; and 10 nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, September 26, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. in the Strawmyer Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. This will be combined with a celebration of life for Don as well.
