A Knozone Action Day is in effect today for many Indiana counties due to the smoke from Canadian wildfires. The Indianapolis Office of Sustainability issued the notice yesterday. Smoke from the wildfires brought microscopic dust and soot yesterday that can be harmful to people with asthma and COPD. There have been 17 Knozone Action Days this year.
