Friday night the Lady Tiger Wrestlers traveled to Edgewood HS to compete in the IHSGW South Regional Tournament. Out of 63 schools the Lady Tigers finished 1st and won the South Regional with a total of 116 points. Congratulations to the Tigers! Out of the 9 girls LHS had wrestling, 5 will be advancing to wrestle in the State Finals next Friday night at the Memorial Gymnasium in Kokomo. Coach Jeremey Goodlett said, “I am so very proud of our girls. I can’t tell you how blessed I am to coach these girls.” Special congratulations to Sarah Huse who took home the Championship Title in the 170 lbs. weight class and Emerson Wolfbrandt who was Regional Runner-Up in the 138 lbs. weight class.
