On Friday, January 20, 2023, following a lengthy investigation, Detective Lieutenant Roudebush with the Clinton County Sheriffs Department arrested Robert Michael Patten, 49, of Lafayette for the following:
I.C. 35-42-4-2(a) Child Molestation, a Level 3 Felony – 1 count
I.C. 35-42-4-2(b) Child Molestation by Fondling, a Level 4 Felony – 2 counts
I.C.35-42-4-7(q)(5) Child Seduction, a Level 3 Felony – 1 count
I.C. 35-42-4-7(q)(6) Child Seduction, a Level 2 Felony – 1 count
I.C. 35-42-4-8(a)(1)(B) Sexual Battery, a Level 6 Felony – 2 counts
Official charges are pending review by the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office.
