A Lafayette woman will spend decades behind bars after being sentenced in connection to her son’s death. Thirty-two-year-old Kelsey Harrington pleaded guilty to neglect of a dependent after her four-year-old son died in 2022. On Wednesday, Harrington was sentenced to 25 years in prison followed by five years on probation. The boy’s father also faces prison time in connection to the child’s death.
