A landspout tornado happened in Carroll County on Monday during a round of storms. Video has been circulating on social media of the landspout on the ground not far from the town of Flora. No damage was reported since the small twister happened in an open field and was only on the ground for a matter of minutes. A landspout happens in what is considered a “non-severe” storm and usually occurs from the ground up and not from cloud-to-surface like a regular tornado.
